The New Year Feast I Almost Slept Through

I am going to write a blog about the New Year that we celebrated last December 31st but only the food that I will be posted since I only took the food that we prepare at that time.

I only took the food because I have no time to take photos of ourselves because I sleep as early as 9 in the evening and I even got woken up by my sister and at that time, it was almost midnight.

After I woke up, I went to the living room where we display the food that my sister prepare for it. So, there were only 30 minutes but I feel like sleepy at that time and I was only taking photos of the food.

Although, we took photos of my family and the food but it's not my phone who took photos of my family and the food and it was my brother's phone who took photo of my family and the food and I didn't bother to asked the photos since they were busy with their life.

The food that we prepare before the New Year, there were mini snacks that was at the center and it's like a pika-pika where you can pick any from that tray because there were different kinds of sweets that you can pick.

We also made the macaroni salad, that was one of my favorite dessert that I even skip meal just to eat this macaroni salad because it's one of my favorite.

We also put 13 fruits at the center of the table, so, there were thirteen different fruits in the basket at the center and it's not yet opened because we will open that during the New Year.

There was also a spaghetti that one of my family cooks this spaghetti and the rest were viands like lumpia, pork stew, braised pork, and meatballs..

In this New Year, I was glad that we prepare something like this because it's not every day that we celebrated New Year and we prepare something like this.

So, while taking photos, some were grabbing their food in the table because they were hungry there were some that only picks something on the table.

Actually, there were other guests that went into the house and we were also glad that there were guests, too, because it's not that we have guests to celebrate the New Year together.

When the clock ticks on the 12, which was the midnight, and it was the New Year celebration, I hear many fireworks around my place and saw a couple of them.

Also, one my sibling throws coins from inside the house to the outside of our house and actually, I also participated the money throw because there were lots of coins that my sibling throws the coins. There were coins mixed from one, five, tens, and twenty but they were mostly fives, tens, and twenties coins.

There were other guests that picks up the coins that my siblings throw and myself that picks up the coins, too, since there were lots of the money that are being thrown to the ground.

After that little event, I went to my room to count the money and went to the living room again and grab a little food in the table and eat it. After a while, I went to my room to sleep again because I was still sleepy at that time.
