Office Break: A Sweet Sip of Milk Tea

It was a hot sunny day in our company, during lunch time, me and my colleague had an idea of going outside for buying some drinks. A drink that can refresh our mind from a sunny weather and also from our tiring work.

We didn't plan on going here while we were working in the morning and when lunch time comes, we just had an idea of going outside for some drinks. Not the drinks like alcoholic drinks because that will be prohibited if we are still working in the afternoon.

We talked together with my colleague if she wants to drink. A cold drink and she said yes, she likes it. I asked if where do we want to buy drinks together, she said that we could buy drinks opposite from our company.

When I saw outside, opposite to where our company is, I saw there was a store that was selling drinks. The name of the store is Realtea which is a milk tea store, a store that you can buy milk teas at a cheap price and lots of other menus that we can chose to, she said.

We went there together so that we could see their menu and try their drinks there. In the menu, there were different kinds of drinks that we can choose to classic series milk tea, cheesecake series milk tea, nutella series milk tea, and etc. They also have some snacks like burger combo with milk tea and many more.

The only thing that we came here is to buy drinks in this hot weather so that we can feel a little cold while drinking these kind of drinks. So, we chose the cheapest drink that they had because we also have a tight budget.

We asked to the counter on what kind of drink that offers the cheapest, they said that classic ones and they also had a promo for the price of 90php, we can avail two kinds of drink. One classic milk tea drink costs 60php and when we buy two, the price will be 90php. I think we got a discount when we buy a second drink of 50% discount.

We didn't hesitate on buying this classic series and there were lots of options for this classic series, they had mango, vanilla, cookies and cream, and many more.

I chose the bubble tea because it's my first time hearing the name of the drink while my colleague chose the caramel macchiato. We waited for a couple of minutes for our drink to be finished and yea, I think it was less than 5 minutes when they serve the classic tea that we order.

We were happy that we bought this milk tea drink at a cheap price because we were thirsty from the sunny weather. For this taste of the bubble tea, I think it's okay but there's no surprise flavor in it and it's just a normal milk tea drink, nothing special.
