My Kind of Christmas Celebration

I'm going to write another blog about my celebration of the Christmas from my family. Although, there's no exchanging gifts but we give gifts to my family.

There was some preparations that we've made before the Christmas which was the 24'th of December. At that time, we were busy preparing the food that we were going to eat at during Christmas.

There were a couple of food that we prepare and some food were gifts from other relatives during that time. So, we have cake that one of our relative gave to us, so, we didn't need to buy another cake for that Christmas and since most of us didn't like eating cake but only to display it.

There were also other desserts and snacks that we prepare like Macaroni salad, cassava cake, chantilli, pika-pika (little snacks), and some viands that our family cook during the day.

We waited for the countdown of the Christmas together with my family and we were excited for the Christmas to celebrate with my family.

As I took photos of the food from the preparations in the table, I was drooling and craving to eat the macaroni salad since this was one of my favorite food that I really want to eat.

So, yeah, I ate as early as 11 in the evening for the macaroni because I am drooling while taking photos. While my other family members drink some alcoholic drinks together with the other guests that went into the place.

Most of the time, there were some guests that went into the place to eat the food for the preparation as well as drink some alcoholic drinks with my family.

I am not fond of drinking alcoholic drinks but I do drink a little and at that time, I don't feel drinking alcoholic drinks because it's not a beer but a rum.

When the clock ticks at 12 midnight, we say Merry Christmas to every one as well as the guests and we took photos together as a family photo at that time, although, there were missing which was my mom and my litter with her daughters and as well as my wife and my daughter.

They weren't present because of some other things and we won't divulge into that.

After we took photos together, with a happy smile, I went to my own room and grab a small red packet to give to my family members. So yeah, I gave a red packet to my dad, my sister, and also to the guests, I didn't give red packet to my little brother because I knew that he was rich enough giving this small gift of red packet but I think it's better to still give a red packet even if he is richer than myself because the happiness on receiving gifts during Christmas is different.
