Making Employees Feel Special: Birthday Cheers in the Workplace

Last September 9, we had celebrated one of the birthdays of our co-worker. Yes, if there is someone that has a birthday on that certain day, the company will prepare some snacks for the birthday celebrant.

A company that cares for the birthday celebration because birthdays don't happen to be celebrated for two, three times year but birthdays will happen once in a year.

So, employees were very lucky in this company because the employees can experience a little celebration during their birthday. It feels like they were very important because they celebrated their birthday on their birthday celebration.

The little snacks that the company prepare will be held during in the afternoon and in snack time. A snack time that employees will enjoy because they had celebrated an employees birthday.

I have witness and seen countless of birthday from the span of months that I have been working here and the food or the snacks were awesome. Just like in the July birthdays that they celebrated all the birthdays in one day during that month and prepared a small lechon during dinner time. I think there were more than 16 people that celebrated birthday in the month alone.

Anyway, we were going to celebrate this one of the birthday celebrant on that day. One of the assigned people that will prepare the food was our HR and she was the one who will asked you about what food snack do the employees eat and prepare.

There were lots of options that fits on the budget and take note that we were more than fifty employees in the two of the main departments. Yeah, a birthday celebrant can decide on what kind of snack do we eat on their own birthday or the HR can decide on the snack food if the birthday celebrant wants it random.

The HR prepares the snack food for the employees and also a small birthday cake to the birthday celebrant and also a small token of gift to the birthday celebrant.

During that birthday, the snack that we ate were the Jollibee yumburger and this swakto cola. That was our snack in her birthday. Sometimes, it was siopao and there were times that it was pizza.

We, then, took photos together with most of the employees and with the food snack that was on the table. We were smiling in the photo that we took and we were happy on that day that we had celebrated a little celebration with her.

We knew that she was glad and happy on that small appreciation that the company gave to her and I think one of the most unforgettable birthday celebration to her.

After taking photos, we grab our share of snack food and then ate together but there were some that they will eat their share snack in their house but for me, I ate it directly because I am very hungry and wants to eat this snack food.
