Lunch With a Little One: Big Smiles Over Small Joys

When we went to the City which was the nearest city where I live, one of my favorite fast food chain was the Chowking and it's been a long time since I ate food from their store, because of my busy schedule and very tight budget and that was years before.

My wife was applying on taking an Exam, which is the LET exam for teacher, I was accompanying her together with our little daughter. Well, we arrived at the city late in the morning, and we thought that there was a big line for applying for the exam but there wasn't.

Anyway, we don't wanna talked about that since after we finished for that matter, we directly went to the nearest food store and that is the fast food chain called Chowking and yeah, at that time, it was almost 12 noon and it's lunch time.

So, it's better to dine to this place because it's near where we were at that time, and we don't need to go to another place just to eat our lunch. So, we dined here with them and at that time, only a few customers that dined in, too.

I lined up to the counter and picked the food in their menu which was in front of us. One of the their signature food was called the Chao Fan series with different flavors (pork, chicken, and beef). They also have fried chicken, siomai, halo-halo, Lauriat style, and other food products.

As I lined up, there were many options that I want to buy for my family but in the end, I ordered up the 1 serve of Siomai + Fried Chao fan platter, 1 serving of fried chicken with rice, and their halo-halo.

After ordering, they had numbering and they will call the number if our order is ready to serve. We waited for a couple of minutes when our was ready and I went to the side to get our order and I grab our order to put it into our table.

As I am walking to the table, my daughter was happy, excited, and shouting to see the food that I am bringing to them. I put it and she shouted "wow" in front of us and we were happy that she liked the food.

We were hungry at that time and we eat together as I like their Chao fan paired with Siomai which is a good combination to them. I really like their spicy sauce because it's spicy that is dipped from siomai, sometime, I will dip this spicy sauce to the Chao fan itself so that the choa fan will be a spicy flavor.

We fill our stomach as we were eating together and as our daughter, she was looking at the halo-halo because she thinks that it is delicious and yummy and at the same time, it was very cold. While she wants to grab the halo-halo, my wife didn't give it to her because she was not eating the meal.

We want to eat the meal first before eating this halo-halo because it's a cold one and we think it's not good to directly eat this to her while she didn't eat the food that we gave it to her.
