Yesterday, I went to the grocery store to buy some grocery items and stuffs because this week is a holy week and we don't have any work at all. I plan on buying groceries before I will go home to my hometown and also, I plan on making something in my hometown since I have a looooong days of holiday and thinking on what things I would do on that days.
Anyway, before I went to the grocery store, I already plan the groceries that I will buy because of my tight budget and also, I will not buy any unnecessary items around the grocery (but I bought extra groceries that are not part of my budget)
The grocery store that I went is this Juanita Store and it's near where I work, a few blocks away from the company that I worked. Inside the grocery store, there were many customers that also went to this place its either for their groceries or for preparation for the holy week.

I walked around and around the grocery store while finding the grocery items that I needed to buy and there were some grocery items that I also bought while walking around the place. While walking around, there were also items that has discounted in price and some were even a buy one take one.
One of my main reason by going there is to buy ingredients on making a mango float and I remember that they had one of the grocery item on making the mango float that is a buy one take one that I grab the opportunity on making that one.
The ingredient is the cream (which costs for $1.26 for one pack) and this time, they sell it $1.26 for two packs already, so that means it's a buy one take one cream and cream is one of the main ingredients for making this mango float.
While walking around, I say many customers that also finding something around the grocery store and I also walk go around looking around the place and I saw some grocery items that's either has big discounts, free, and another buy one take one item.
Most of the groceries that I bought were cheaper compared to its original price. I also bought biscuits which is also a buy one take one, the hotdog with free chicken poppers, and and this toothpaste with a discounted price compared to buying one.
I didn't expect that I bought more groceries that I imagine but I think this is good since I will go to my hometown and stay for a few days while having more quality with my family and giving them more happiness.

Yes, it's a common experience. We tend to buy more than what we plan to. So, at the counter, there are many items left by the customers. Graham is really popular for making desserts. Your family will be happy to open the box and share the food with each other.
While others are busy preparing for making 'kakanins' this Holy Week, yours got kind of a twist--- you're into desserts, but why not??? Eventually, the kids prefer desserts rather than kakanins. May you have a blessed Holy week🙏
I think mango float is a good choice this holy week because it's beginning to be so hot. Summertime is approaching.
Oh! Now we have the same dessert to make 😀, last night after church, I convinced my husband that we would find Graham biscuits here, went to a Filipino store even though it's a bit far, and we're lucky, they have! Long weekend, Wow, your family will be so happy, you have so much time to spend with them. 😍 Enjoy!
The grocery haul dilemma is real. The products look enticing, and ideas flow well when we are inside the stores! 😆 I hope you get to enjoy this sustenance. Have a blessed Holy Week! 💙
Where are the ingredients for the benegnet? binignit? benignit? haha!
Most times, despite out tight budgets, there always seem to be that one item you just have to get outside your budget, lol.
I admire how you take care and provide for your family, You are such an amazing loving and a good provider husband and dad.
