Employee Appreciation on Labor Day

May 1st was the day of Labor day and many employees celebrate their Labor day by going outside together with their family, make more quality time with other employees, events in the company, and etc etc.

As our company having the Labor day, we had our special day for all of the employees and that is to celebrate together with other co-employees, with our CEO's and other important people that build this company with the help of employees, too.

As I don't celebrate Labor day during my work in online English classes but this was the first time that I will celebrate labor day with my other co-workers, too.

They said that the last Labor day was going to one of the swimming pool that is near our place and they expected to have another gatherings in the swimming pool for this Labor day of 2025.

But the company decided not to go to the swimming for this year's gathering for the Labor day, instead, they will focus more on preparing the food and celebrate it at the compound of our CEO's place.

The other employees also decorate the place because they knew that we will have some event for the Labor day for all of the employees while some were busy doing stuffs for their work and etc. etc.

We went here before noon where we will eat our lunch together. I was surprised to see that there were a couple of round tables around the place and there were some flipped plates with some spoon and fork in the table. While we cater the food that we were going to eat for the lunch because we were busy in our designations.

We went there at half past 11 in the morning and we sat to one of the tables that was given to us and the other employees, too. There was a program that they prepare for the employees and there were some questions that were being asked to us that was related to the company.

Then, after that, there were some dance presentations by my other co-employees and zumba dance to all of the employees that gather at that time. After that small program, we ate our lunch together. The food that they prepare were chicken teriyaki, menudo, lechon, and this one viand that I don't know how to say it in English.

We lined up to the food station because that's what we usually do to eat our food, we lined up and then the food server will serve the food in front of us while the lechon were put only at the right side of the line and we went there to get some lechon and one of my favorite was this skin of the lechon and it's one of main favorite when it comes to lechon.

We ate happily for the Labor day and for the loving company that gives us importance while working from this because our company celebrate the labor day to us and also, they also give some incentives on the day of the Labor Day and we were glad and happy to receive such incentives from the company because not all of the company were like this that they will give incentives to their employees.
