Sweet Rewards: Harvesting Our Papayas After Months of Patient Waiting|Another episode of my blog As a Mom and Hardworking farmer

hello everyone to all my co-hivers in this @aseanhive Community this is you're hivemate @vellyn 🌻🌱🤗 and today,I want to share something with you about what happened yesterday when we harvested our first Red Lady papayas.🤗🌱🌞😍

Our First Papaya Harvest
We felt such incredible joy when we finally picked the very first yield of our Red Lady papaya plants. After months of careful nurturing, watering, and protecting the plants from pests, the moment we had long awaited finally came to fruition.

Yesterday was truly a memorable day for us because we finally harvested the papayas we planted months ago. It felt so rewarding to see the fruits of our hard work literally hanging right in front of us. Early in the morning, the weather was cool and pleasant, which made it the perfect time to start working in the backyard garden.

Equipped with a sharp knife and a sturdy basket, my family and I went straight to the papaya trees.

Some of the fruits hanging near the top were already showing a beautiful hint of orange and yellow some them are There are some scratches and wrinkles on its skin, but that's it.

indicating they were ripe and sweet. My husband carefully climbed a short ladder to reach the higher branches, while I caught the harvested fruits safely below to prevent them from bruising and put it on the basket..

We managed to pick several large, plump papayas. The sweet aroma filled the air the moment we sliced open the very first one to taste it. It was incredibly juicy and delicious—far better than any fruit we could buy at the market.

We shared some with our friendly neighbors, and we still had plenty left over to keep at home. Harvesting our own crops gave us a deep sense of pride and joy.
