Aside from me, my kids also miss our house. They often said they wanted to go home. But the flooding is still high even though the sun is shining so bright.
My post for today is my entry to sir @justinparke community challenge "Sounds Of Home."
And every sound in our house is a weird thing. If I was a teenager I could just actually tell that the sound of our home is the voice of my mom and grandmother when they are yelling at me. But it's the opposite for now. Aside from my voice, there are a lot of sounds that we missed inside our house. And at the top of it is the sounds of flooding when we're walking in it. It's hard because it's cold, especially in the morning. But it's nothing, especially when you think of a peaceful mind in your own home. I don't know, but I want to cry while writing my post.
Next is the sound of our roof. We have no ceiling, so when it rains you will surely hear the raindrops either it's noisy or quiet. The sound of our television before it broke, it was our bonding moments together. Even flooded we have Netflix and our favorite is watching a series either it's Korean or English. Will find ways to dub it in Tagalog.
The lizards sound. My friend told me that when we hear a sound of a lizard we should knock in the wood to try a luck. Our ducks, because we don't have a dog or cat, all we have is a duck for an additional family member. When they quack it's either they are fighting or hungry.
And last but not the least, the loud voice when me and my husband fight. But most especially the laughter when we shared wonderful moments together.
I can't imagine how lonely our house is without us. But one thing's for sure, when we come back we're going to fill it with laughter, joy and happiness.
