An Unexpected Officer At Your Service

Blessed Sunday @asean,hive community. Last week was full of surprises! Ria's first week in school was a bit messy. The regular teacher in grade is on leave. She gave birth Last Thursday, and her co-teachers said that she'll be back after three months. My co-parents couldn't help but to tell that the grade one students needed a new teacher. Last year the schedule was 7 in the morning to 11 noon, and they needed to come back at 1 in the afternoon. It's the parent to decide if they will take home the kids or feed it in the school.

Every school year the first meeting is the election of the PTA or Parents Teachers Association. Because the absence of the regular teacher. Ma'am Ana or the head of canteen was the substitute for that day. And because we're close; she hired me as the president. I was apointing the other parents! But they didn't also want that position. I left no choice. I wasn't elected or been voted! Last year's officer didn't attend the meeting. They were supposed to be the hired ones not me.

I messaged the previous president last year but they didn't also want to be the officers of the class. I also felt that they didn't want me as their officer. They really want to appoint someone but they suddenly went home. Because his son wants to poop to their house.

They said that they'll support me, that the previous will be the acting president if I'm not around. But I decided that I will let down my position because I want to spend more time with my husband when his around. Is that the right thing to do? I'm an introvert, I felt more comfortable with my friends and work online. I don't know if I can handle my position. Now I knew what it's feel like to be elected as an officer even if we didn't want the position.
