Sometimes, we are surprised by how quickly we can feel at home with people we have only known for a short time. This is what I noticed with my daughter and her new church community.

She has been attending their church for only about a month, but according to her, they already feel like a family. They have Bible studies, share God's words, and help one another with their activities. Seeing her happy and comfortable with these people makes me happy as a mother.
One Sunday, they went to Manila for a blood donation activity. They contributed money for their transportation, food, and other expenses. Some of the members donated blood, while those who could not donate stayed to support and encourage their companions. I think this is a beautiful way to show care for other people. Even if someone cannot give blood, they can still offer their time, presence, and support.

My daughter also shared something that touched my heart. When they gave food to the children, the children prayed before eating. It was a simple moment, but it reminded me that teaching kindness and gratitude can start with small things.

What made me even happier was that she thanked me for allowing her to join them. Sunday is her day of rest because she attends classes from Wednesday to Saturday. She could have stayed home to relax, but she chose to spend her free day helping others and joining her church friends. As a mother, I appreciate seeing my child use her time for something meaningful.
They also took pictures together, and I can see how much they enjoy being around each other. They help with the activities inside their church, and my daughter even invited us to visit sometime.

I am still a Catholic, and I respect my own faith. Their way of worship may be different from mine, but I believe that respect and kindness should always come first. We may have different religious practices, but we can still learn to understand one another.
For me, what matters is having faith in God, showing love to others, and doing good without expecting anything in return.
I may not be joining my daughter at her church for now, but I am thankful that she has found a community where she feels welcomed and encouraged to help others.
As a mother, I only hope that wherever her faith leads her, she will continue to have a kind heart, respect other people, and remember the importance of helping those in need.

I know even though we have different beliefs and ways of worshipping, kindness and respect are more important. 💞 May God continue to guide your child. 🙏
