Not long after, the three little girls returned, this time asking for snacks. We kindly shared some with them, and they even created their own small picnic setup using one of their jackets as a mat. They were absolutely adorable like miniature versions of ourselves.

Later on, we decided to try another trend, the “flower hunting” activity, where we collected flowers and arranged them on a piece of cardboard while designing it creatively. The children eagerly followed us during this activity. However, I soon became concerned when I realized that we had left our bags, including our money, unattended at our picnic area. I immediately suggested that we return or at least stay within sight of our belongings. We followed this precaution and continued our activity safely, a while of talking my friend Trisha found a bicycle and rode on it😆.

Afterward, we returned to our spot, ate, and resumed our conversations. Soon, a group of boys approached us, then they thought we were influencers because we were filming ourselves while eating snacks. They were noticeably energetic but unfortunately behaved in a disrespectful manner. They asked for snacks, and although we gave them one, they suddenly grabbed more and ran away. Fortunately, we still had some food left for ourselves.

Not long after the incident, we decided it was best to conclude our picnic and head home. We gathered our belongings, cleaned up, and prepared to leave.
As we walked away, I couldn’t help but glance back at the quiet field, the gentle trees, and the place where we had laughed, shared stories, and met unexpected little companions. The baliti tree stood still in the distance, as if keeping its own silent tale. I smiled to myself, thinking that perhaps some places are meant to feel a little magical hehe!.
