One of my favorite places to just hang around and people-watch is Chak Phet Road in the Phra Nakhon district. What makes it special? The sweet and calming scent in the air — because this area is full of flower sellers doing their daily business.
This area is also famously known as The Bangkok Flower Market, or Pak Khlong Talat. It operates almost 24 hours a day, with sellers coming from various places to sell fresh flowers in bulk, while shops and local vendors sell them at retail prices.
In Thailand, flowers are more than just decoration — they're used for temple offerings, spiritual ceremonies, and of course, given as symbols of love to someone special.
There are countless choices of fresh flowers, all bursting with color and fragrance. What surprised me the most is how affordable they are — especially if you come very early in the morning, when vendors are just setting up and wholesale deals are easier to find.
Look how cheap was the bucket of roses :
You also can buy bouquet of flower with lower price compare to any other place in Bangkok. If you love to arrange flower by yourselves, there was also some shop that sell accessories to make flower such as ribbon, wrapping paper, wire and many more. It’s a great place not only for florist or business owner, but also for those who just love to create something beautiful by their hands.
Check out some of the green fresh bouquet accessories being sold here.
Last but not least, here’s one of the supermarkets beautifully decorated with flowers in this area. I didn’t manage to take more pictures because my phone battery ran out at the time, but I think you can still get the idea of how beautiful the place was.
Thanks for stopping by , i hope you enjoy today journey in Bangkok. See you tommorow.

The market street is filled with colorful flowers, which is very beautiful to see. Thai and Myanmar have similar religious beliefs. Flowers are an indispensable religious offering for pagodas. For businessmen, it is a source of income.
