My Daily Post: " My Grandpa's Simple Birthday Celebration"

Me and my husband started to swept the yard and burning the dry leaves, My Grandma don't want us to do the job because but we really insists to helped her. She was very thankful to us and we clean the entire place and put the dry leaves in one place so it can easily burned. It takes almost an hour and after that, we take a rest while my Uncle was also arrived. My Uncle brought something for our lunch and my Grandparents was very happy to see him not knowingly that some of my Cousins and Aunts also arrived bring foods also. It really needs the place to be clean so it will become more attravctive and relaxed specially that this place is surrounded with lots of Big trees.

My Grandpa told us that they don't have any foods to served us for his birthday but my Uncle said that He brought some foods for the occasion and My Grandpa was very surprised. We planned to do Buddle Fight style that is why my Grandma prepared the things we want to used just like kitchen utensils and more. For them it was unexpected and truly a surprised for my Grandpa. My Uncle prepared the engridients just like spices and decided to cooked outside of the house so it relaxed cooking. My Husband was also very busy gathering lots of banana leaves so the foods csn be placed afterwards.

The water was interrupted that is why my Husband were decided to fetched lots of water here in this water pump not far from my Grandparents house. This water pump helps them a lot specially when the water distribution will interrupt. It really needs to have lots of water specially in this kind of occasions. After a few minutes, my Aunt and Cousins also arrived bringing cakes and other foods. My Grandpa was very happy and surprised including my Grandma.

One of my cousin was started to roast the belly of a pig, roast belly is very expensive when we ordered that is why they decided to brought uncooked or raw belly meat including spices and my Cousin make a home-made belly. My Aunt also broughy dressed chickens and it also roasted and it takes almost an hour before the roasted belly and chicken are completely cooked. The banana leaves was set at the table while my Aunt also busy frying lumpia dish.

My Aunt Brought 6 pieces of Lumpia and before she fried those, She cut into halfs so it can easily fried. Gladly there are lots of cooking oil that my Grandma brought yesterday because my Aunt was forgot to brought cooking oil. It takes almost an hour of cooking the lumpia while I kept myself busy doing the sauce out of Soy sauce, garlic, onions and chilli pepper.

My Grandpa was not expected to have this surprised banquets for his Birthday and truly it was a surprised. The place is turned into a noisy playing musics and laughing with my cousins.

This delicious cake and foods are served and set at the table. Before we ate our lunch, we prayed first and after that we begun eating our lunch. It was an enjoyable time In My life and gladly I also brought foods at home for my Daughter.
