Sun-Dried Blessings: Preparing for the Days Ahead 🙏❤

Today, I would like to share something simple but very meaningful that we did at home. It’s about how we make use of the fresh catch of my parents and turn it into something that can last longer. It's our own homemade dried fish and squid. 😊

These past few days have been very hot, and instead of complaining about the heat, my parents made good use of it. Since the sun is very strong, it is the perfect time to dry fish and squid. This is something that has been done for many years, and I feel happy that we are still practicing it at home. 😊

Watching them prepare the fish and squid for drying made me realize how much effort goes into preserving food. It’s not just about catching fish, but also about making sure nothing goes to waste. Every step matters like cleaning, preparing, and carefully laying them out under the heat of the sun. ❤

The smell, the heat, and the patience needed in this process are all part of it. It may look simple, but it requires time and effort. And seeing it makes me appreciate even more the food that we eat every day.❤

I also feel grateful because this means we will have food ready for the coming days. Especially when the rainy season comes, it won’t be easy to go out and catch fish. Having dried fish and squid stored at home gives us peace of mind. We know that even if the weather is not good, we still have something to cook and share.😊🙏❤

But even beyond preparation for rainy days, dried fish and squid are something we truly enjoy eating. There are times when we simply crave it, and it’s comforting to know that we have our own stock at home. It’s very convenient and also more meaningful because we prepared it ourselves.😊❤

This simple activity reminded me again of how blessed we are. Not everyone has the opportunity to have fresh catch, dry it, and store it for future use. These are simple things, but they carry so much value.❤🙏

I also admire my parents for their hard work and wisdom. They know how to make use of what we have and turn it into something that can sustain us longer. Their efforts are truly a blessing to our family.😊❤🙏

In life, we may not always have abundance, but we can always find ways to make what we have last. And sometimes, those simple efforts become the biggest blessings.❤🙏
