I honestly feel sorry that I haven’t been able to write a blog for the past days. My mind feels so preoccupied lately. Ever since my love left to work abroad, I’ve been missing him so much. I always remember every moments we shared when he was still here. It’s not easy being left behind, but I keep reminding myself that this sacrifice is for our future.

I am grateful that after all the challenges we faced in fixing his documents, he is now safely working abroad again. From Saudi, he is now in Jordan. To be honest, my heart still aches and sometimes I can’t think properly of what to write. But today, I want to share something else that has been helping me in another way, my experience using Seabank, a digital wallet that I recently tried.

Of course, there are things I also learned to be careful with. For example, Seabank charges a 2% DCC fee for international online transactions. I experienced this when I paid for a hotel booking on Agoda and when I used Temu. I think for international payments, it’s better to use a credit card instead.

I also requested a physical SeaBank card and paid the ₱99 fee for it. The good news is SeaBank can refund the card fee if you use the physical card five times within 30 days of activation. I already paid and requested mine. I'm waiting for it to be delivered at our store. I’m not at home to receive it personally yet. I’m excited to have the card so I can use it anywhere and withdraw cash when needed.

Overall, I’m very happy with Seabank. It saves me money on transfer fees, gives me cashback, and even cheaper load with 5% off. It’s really useful for everyday needs.

So far, I’ve already earned ₱234 in total rewards since August 23, 2023. That’s not bad at all!
