I’m so happy to share this personal story, right after my sister’s wedding, she and her husband followed a meaningful tradition, the feeding of chickens and pigs together. It was such a simple yet powerful moment that I felt compelled to write about it. ☺️❤️

My sister and her husband feeding chickens hand in hand, starting their married life with care.

The day after the ceremony, they went straight to the chicken coop. You can feel the warmth between them as they sprinkle feed for the chickens. It was a beautiful way to begin their partnership with small acts of love and responsibility.

Together, feeding the family pig is a symbol of prosperity and growth.

Next, they moved on to the pig pen. The pig eagerly ate from their bowl while they chuckled and leaned in together. For me, it wasn’t just feeding an animal, it was feeding their marriage. They were showing humility, loving care, and working together.

In many cultures, especially here in the Philippines, feeding animals after the wedding is a ritual with deep symbolism. Offering food to pigs and chickens represents a wish for prosperity and fertility.

Watching them feeding animals was powerful. It wasn’t glamorous. It was humble and real. And that’s exactly what marriage is about, growing together through kindness in simple acts. Those moments, feeding and laughing with chickens and pigs, felt like setting the foundation of their shared life.

I’m so grateful I could capture these moments and now share them with you. It wasn’t photo ops or staged poses, it was genuine, beautiful humanity. Wishing my sister and her husband a journey filled with love, laughter, and meaningful shared moments like these. ❤️❤️❤️

Best wishes! ❤️❤️❤️
