My Simple Plans for the BBQ Stall 😊❤🙏

Hope all are safe and well! 😊❤🙏

As of today, there is still no update yet regarding the BBQ stall slot that I applied for. I am still waiting, but I remain positive and hopeful that I will be given a chance to have one. Waiting is not always easy, especially when you are excited about something. But I keep reminding myself that everything happens at the right time. For now, while waiting for the final update, I am doing what I can in preparing little by little. 🙏😊

Even though the stall slot is not yet confirmed, I already started brainstorming about the process and flow of how the operation will go once everything begins. I have been thinking about it almost every day. In my mind it seems easy and exciting, but I also know that in reality it will be very different. Running a small food stall requires patience, effort, and a lot of learning. 💪

Still, I am very excited. I am praying that everything will go smoothly and that this small plan will grow into something good. 🙏😊

Aside from preparing the tarpaulin for the Unli Rice promotion, I also thought about how we will present ourselves to the customers. I have here a simple name tag that we can wear during the operation. This will be for me and for the soon-to-be staff who will help in the stall. I believe it is important that customers can easily recognize the people who are serving them.😊

It may look like a small thing, but simple details like this can help build connection with customers.

I also have a friendly reminder that will be posted at the counter. When the operation starts, I plan to be the cashier myself. I will be the one writing down the orders of the customers. After taking their orders, I will politely ask them to read the reminders, especially those who will avail of the promo. 😊

At the same time, I will inform them that we offer free mineral water for customers and it will be self-service so they can conveniently get water while waiting for their food.😊

Another thing that I have is a number tag system from 1 to 30 which will be given to the customers while they wait for their orders. This will help us organize the serving process and avoid confusion, especially when there are many customers waiting. 😊

To keep things simple and practical, I will just make a DIY stand using carton so the number tags can stand on the tables. Sometimes creativity and resourcefulness are enough to make things work. 😊💪🙏

At the back of each number tag, I will paste this meaningful slogan.

I am a member of BCBP Cebu North, and I would also like to spread this message in my own simple way. Even in a small food stall, we can still share positivity and remind people about honesty and God's love.

I also have this sign that says GCash Payment Accepted. Nowadays, many people prefer digital payments, so I thought it would be helpful to offer this option. At the same time, I am planning to offer GCash Cash In and Cash Out services with a minimal charge for customers who might need it. 😊

Aside from the physical preparations, I am also working on something very important which is the documentation and record keeping. I am currently making a draft list for documentation so that everything will be organized once the operation begins. 💪

This includes documenting the purchases for materials and equipment needed at the stall, such as grilling tools, containers, and other things required for the setup. I am also listing down the products and ingredients needed for the food that we will sell.

In addition, I am preparing a list to track all expenses, including permits, transportation, stall rental, salary for staff, and other operational costs that may come along the way.

I am also planning to create records for inventory of products, daily sales monitoring, and profit recording. All of these will help me clearly see how the business is performing. In short, I want to have a complete cash flow documentation so that I can track where the money goes and how the business grows. 💪🙏

I believe that good financial management is very important even in a small business. Proper recording will help me understand if the business is profitable and what areas need improvement. 💪

All of these are the reasons that makes me busy this past few days. It is still simple preparations, but each one makes me feel more excited. I truly hope that when the actual operation starts, everything will be smooth and organized. Of course, I know that the real learning will happen during the actual operation. That is where I will discover what needs to be adjusted and improved in the products and service. 💪🙏

Starting something new is never easy, but every step forward is already progress.🙏
