Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
Being home really brings out a different kind of joy in me. One of the things I truly love about being at home is the freedom to make whatever food I feel like cooking as long as there are ingredients available in the kitchen. There’s something comforting about opening the fridge, checking the shelves, and letting ideas slowly form in your mind. No pressure, no rush, just pure curiosity and excitement to try something new. ☺️❤️
The other day, I decided to challenge myself and made chocolate cupcakes and a moist chocolate cake. It was actually my first time doing it, so I was honestly a bit nervous. I didn’t even take pictures while I was making them because I wasn’t sure how the outcome would be. I kept thinking, What if it doesn’t turn out right? Still, I trusted the process and just enjoyed the moment of mixing, pouring, waiting, and hoping for the best.🤭
When they were finally done, I felt such a sense of relief and happiness. To my surprise, my first attempt was a success! The cupcakes were soft, the cake was moist, and most importantly, they tasted really good. I loved them, and seeing my family enjoy what I cook made everything even more meaningful. There’s a different level of happiness when the people you love appreciate something you worked hard on, even if it’s just a simple homemade dessert. ❤️

Aside from the chocolate cupcakes and cake, I also tried making something savory and healthier, a homemade pork luncheon meat with added vegetables. This was also my first time making it, and I was excited because I wanted to create something nutritious for my family. I added malunggay, carrots, chayote, cabbage, onion, and garlic. Knowing that there were vegetables mixed in made me feel better, especially since it’s something we could eat for breakfast. ❤️
To my relief, it turned out really good and delicious. It became our viand for breakfast for three days, and no one complained at all. In fact, my nephew loved it so much, which made my heart happy. When kids enjoy healthy food, you know you did something right. ☺️❤️

Honestly, it feels so nice to make your own food instead of always buying outside. You know exactly what goes into it, you can adjust it to your taste, and you can be sure it’s prepared with love. Cooking for family is not just about food, it’s about care, effort, and gratitude. Even simple meals feel special when shared at home. ❤️☺️
Moments like these remind me how blessed I am. Not everyone gets to experience peaceful days at home, complete meals on the table, and family to share them with. These are simple things, yet they are priceless. ❤️🙏
Have a Blessed Friday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!
Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀
Everyday is worth to be grateful of!
