Healing Step by Step: My Journey with a Second-Degree Burn πŸ™

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well! πŸ˜Šβ€πŸ™

Today, I want to share an update about my wound caused by the hot oil burn a few days ago. Looking at it now, I can really see the changes day by day. It is not yet fully healed, but I can say that there is progress, and for that, I am truly grateful. πŸ™

As I observed my wound, I realized that it is already a second-degree burn. At first, it was really painful and scary to see, especially when the blisters formed and later popped. But now, I am slowly learning how to take care of it properly and patiently.

After cleaning the affected area using aloe vera and the boiled white flower herbal remedy that I shared in my previousblog, I now also apply an antibacterial ointment. I make sure to clean it gently before putting the ointment to avoid infection and to help with faster healing.πŸ™

Seeing the wound like this is not easy, but I remind myself that this is part of the healing process. Every day, I try to be careful and mindful so that I won’t accidentally hurt it again.

One thing I am thankful for today is that I can already use my right hand when eating. It is already a big improvement compared to the past days when I had to rely only on my left hand. Moments like this make me appreciate even the simplest abilities that we often take for granted. πŸ™

However, I am still not doing much household chores. I don’t want to rush the healing process. I’ve learned that sometimes, resting is the best thing we can do for ourselves. It’s not always easy, especially when you are used to being active and doing things every day, but I know this is necessary.

This whole experience has taught me so many things such as patience, carefulness, and gratitude. It reminded me that accidents can happen anytime, even in the middle of our daily routine. But more importantly, it showed me how strong we can be, even when we are in pain.πŸ™

I also realized how important it is to take care of our bodies and to listen to what it needs. Healing takes time, and that’s okay. What matters is that we continue to move forward, one day at a time.πŸ™

Above all, I am thankful to God for His protection. It could have been worse, but He kept me safe. And now, He is guiding me through this healing journey.πŸ™

Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
