Fresh Catch Is Always the Best Especially When It’s Parent’s Hard Work ❤️

(edited)

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏

Fresh catch is always the best. Every time my parents arrive home with freshly caught fish, my heart feels happy and proud at the same time. Seeing them still strong and willing to do this every day just to make sure our family has something to eat is truly inspiring. ❤️ It reminds me that love is not always shown through words, but through daily sacrifices, effort, and endurance. ❤️

Yesterday, my parents were able to bring home a few fish. They shared that they had already placed the fishing net many times just to get this small catch. It is very different from before, when they could catch plenty of fish in just one to three rounds of fishing. Now, most of the time, what they catch are jellyfish instead of fish. Still, despite the changes and challenges, we remain thankful because even a few fish is already a blessing for our family. 🙏💪

Some people may think that a small catch is not enough, but for us, it already means food on the table for several days. It means we do not have to worry about what to eat, even just for a while. And for that, we thank God sincerely. 🙏

Some of the fish were cooked on the same day, while the rest were cleaned carefully and stored in the freezer for the next days’ meals. Nothing is wasted, because every single fish is precious. ❤️

What we had on the table that day was grilled fish and fish soup filled with fresh moringa leaves. Everything tasted extra good because it was all fresh and cooked with love. There is something special about meals that come directly from the hard work of family. It may be simple, but it is deeply satisfying. ❤️

As we sat together and shared our meal, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Our food for the day was already solved, and we even had food secured for the next few days. These moments remind me that happiness does not always come from abundance. Sometimes, it comes from simplicity, contentment, and knowing that you are cared for. ❤️☺️

I also silently prayed for my parents safety and strength. Fishing is not easy, and it comes with risks, especially as they are already in their senior years. I always ask God to protect them, keep them healthy, and give them the strength they still need every time they go out to sea. 🙏

Life may not always be easy, and resources may sometimes feel limited, but faith fills the gaps that money cannot. As long as we remain grateful, hopeful, and prayerful, we will always find reasons to smile. 🙏❤️

Have a Blessed Friday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖

Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!

Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀

Everyday is worth to be grateful of!

Praying for the safety and wellness of all.

Heal Our Land Oh God!
