Finding Ways to Keep Going Despite the Storm 💪🙏

Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
Right now, we are experiencing the bad weather brought by Typhoon Basyang. Since yesterday, classes in our municipality have already been suspended. The rain has been steady, the air is cold, and the skies are gray most of the time. Even with all these, we remain grateful because, so far, our area is not badly affected. We are safe, our home is okay, and that alone is already a big blessing. 🙏❤️
My heart and prayers go out to those who are directly affected by the typhoon especially families who are facing floods, strong winds, and power interruptions. May God keep everyone safe and protected during this weather. 🙏
Despite the gloomy days and cold weather, life still goes on. I still try to continue what I usually do at home like small things, simple efforts, but meaningful for our daily needs. One of those is making ice and ice candy. Even though it’s cold, I still make them because there are still a few people who buy, and every little income matters.
Our freezer is always full, and honestly, seeing it like that gives me a sense of fulfillment. It reminds me that even during hard times, I am still trying my best to be productive in my own simple way. 💪
Aside from ice and ice candy, I also tried making waffles for snacks at home and also for sale. To be honest, we ended up eating more than what we sold. 🤣🤣 But that’s okay. At least we enjoyed warm food together, especially during this cold and rainy weather. ❤️
There’s something comforting about cooking during stormy days. The sound of the rain outside, the smell of freshly cooked waffles, and the warmth inside the house somehow make everything feel lighter. ❤️
I may not be earning much, but I am still grateful. No matter how small the income is, something still comes back. It helps with daily needs, and more importantly, it gives me hope and motivation to keep going. These simple efforts remind me that even when times are uncertain, we can always find ways to survive, adjust, and move forward. 💪🙏
Stormy days are not just about bad weather, they also reflect the storms we face in life. And just like this typhoon, we hold on, pray, and trust that everything will pass. 🙏
