CHARCOAL REPACKING BY MY MOTHER & FATHER WITH LOVE ❤️ ☺️

(edited)

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well!

At first glance, they might look like just simple black plastic bags. But to me, the row of charcoal packs lined up on our store’s window, captured in the photo I took means so much more. Each bag tells a quiet story of love, effort, and teamwork, especially from two people I deeply admire, my mother and father. ❤️

My mother decided to buy a full sack of charcoal to sell in our sari-sari store. It's a small move for some, but a meaningful one for us. Not everyone has gas or electricity all the time, and charcoal remains a reliable, affordable option for cooking whether for grilling fish, boiling root crops, or preparing a family meal during a brownout or out of gas.

After buying the sack of charcoal, my mother didn’t wait. She got to work sorting, measuring, and carefully repacking the charcoal into smaller plastic bags. The dust stuck to her fingers and arms, but she never minded.

Later that afternoon, my father came to help, patiently tying and arranging each pack. Seeing them work together and helping each other made my heart full.

Once everything was ready, we displayed the charcoal packs by the window of our store and priced at only 15 pesos per pack. Affordable enough for anyone in the neighborhood to buy, whether it’s for a quick barbecue or their daily cooking needs.

We don’t sell hundreds of packs a day, but each time someone comes by and buys just one, it’s more than just income. It’s connection. It’s community. It’s our family doing our part to help others while making an honest living.

And every time a neighbor walks in to buy a pack of charcoal, it’s more than just a sale. It’s a reminder of how much can be done when a family works together. ☺️❤️

Have a Blessed Saturday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖

Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!

Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀

Everyday is worth to be grateful of!

Praying for the safety and wellness of all.

Wow. It was a productive day for them, repacking that charcoal. It is very essential to be sold in a store, so keep it up guys.
