Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
Today, my heart is full of gratitude as I thank the Lord for another abundant blessing He gave to our family through the sea. My father and brother went fishing again, and just like the previous days, they came home with smiles on their faces and baskets full of fresh catch. Moments like this always remind me how faithful God is in providing for our daily needs, sometimes in the simplest and most unexpected ways. 🙏❤️
Because of their hard work and patience, we were able to enjoy free food for the family. Some of the fish were sold, and my father was able to earn a little money from it. That extra income, even if small, is already a big help. As for the crabs, we decided not to sell them anymore. We cooked them all and shared them as food for the whole family. It felt good knowing that what we had on the table came from honest labor and God’s grace. ❤️

Seeing these crabs already made me excited to cook. They were fresh, alive, and full of promise for a delicious meal. Fresh seafood really has a different kind of beauty you can already imagine how tasty it will be even before it’s cooked. ❤️
I decided to cook the crabs with coconut milk and malunggay leaves. My father freshly picked the malunggay leaves himself, which made the dish even more special. I love how ingredients don’t always need to be bought when nature is generous around us. I added lemongrass, turmeric leaves, salt, and ground pepper. The aroma while cooking slowly filled the kitchen, and it felt comforting, warm, and very homey. ❤️

When everything was finally cooked, we all gathered to eat. The meal was so delicious, and everyone truly enjoyed it. There’s something about eating together as a family that makes food taste even better. We talked, laughed, and shared stories while enjoying the crabs. It wasn’t just about satisfying hunger, it was about bonding, gratitude, and togetherness. ❤️
I couldn’t help but feel thankful. Not everyone gets to enjoy free food from the sea or experience moments like this with family. These simple meals remind me that abundance is not always measured by how much you have, but by how thankful you are. Even simple dishes can feel luxurious when they are shared with love and appreciation. ❤️🙏🙏
Days like this teach me to slow down and notice the blessings around me. From my father and brother’s hard work, to the fresh ingredients, to the laughter at the table, everything is a gift. I pray that we continue to appreciate these moments and never take them for granted. ❤️🙏
Have a Blessed Monday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖

So lovely — fresh seafood from your dad and brother’s fishing, then cooking the crabs with coconut milk and malunggay sounds delicious.
