Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
Let me share with you one random but memorable night, my very first visit to La Vie Parisienne in Lahug, Cebu City. It was totally unplanned. A friend invited me after work to join them for a quick get together at La Vie. I didn’t even hesitate to say yes. I’ve heard so much about it, and this time I finally got to experience it myself. ☺️❤️
La Vie Parisienne, or simply La Vie, is one of Cebu’s most popular spots when it comes to wine, chill ambiance, and cozy catch ups. It’s famous for its wide selection of wines from different parts of the world. Inside, you’ll see walls lined with shelves full of wine bottles and to be honest, I was amazed! It felt like stepping into a wine museum. ☺️❤️
Since it was my first time, I was a little shy and unsure of what to expect. But I’m thankful my friends fetched me and made me feel comfortable. When we arrived, there were a few vacant tables inside and out, but we chose the corner table inside just in case it rained. Outside, the ambiance was magical, the tables were lit up beautifully, and there was this arc with glowing lights that felt like a fairy tale backdrop. I even had a picture there! ☺️❤️
I had a few souvenir photos. There’s a spot inside with a wall of wine bottles and a bright neon Lavie sign.
We ordered two bottles of wine. Yes, pricey but good for the experience! One of my friends lined up at the cashier to pay.
Aside from wine, they also offer ice cream, pastries, pizza, and other snacks.
When our order arrived, we clinked glasses to celebrate. I’ll admit the wine tasted more sophisticated than I expected.
We also got a pizza too to balance the taste of the wine. I’m not used to the taste yet, so the pizza helped. 😂
The atmosphere really did make the evening special. There were other couples and groups around us, all sharing food, wine and stories under Lavie’s warm glow.
I also saw something that caught my attention, the Bocca della Verita, or The Mouth of Truth. It's actually a replica of the original sculpture in Rome, and they say if you put your hand in its mouth and tell a lie, it’ll bite you. 🤣 I just had to take a picture with it. It’s such a unique touch to see that in Cebu.
The night was filled with laughter, stories, and new memories. Even if it was simple, it meant so much. It’s not every day you get to unwind and enjoy something different like this. I'm grateful for friends who bring me along to these moments. ❤️☺️
So if you haven’t been to La Vie yet, you might want to add it to your list. It’s perfect for wine lovers, chill nights, or just a pretty backdrop for photos. 😁☺️
Have a Blessed Monday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!
