ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #18 - Local Temple Tours

Good day everyone

Thanks ASEAN hive community and thank you Justin Parke for this challenge.

Since I got accross the ASEANhive community I think of joining every challenge here, however I thought I can't join this challenge since I don't usually go out of my house since the pandemic has come. But what's a little tour to a local temple right😁

The local temple I go to is the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, canonically known as the Parish of Saint John the Baptist and commonly known to us as the Quiapo Church ⛪

The Quiapo Church is what I think the most busiest and the most famous temple in the Philippines, because here is the home of the Black Nazarene. It is a statue of Jesus Christ carrying the a cross which a lot of devotees believes to be miraculous.

Because of this Manila in Philippines also have a religious festival yearly that is called the Feast of the Black Nazarene. This temple will be swarmed by hundreds of thousands of people waiting to see the Black Nazarene or going with it in their procession.

My family always visited this church before when it's my Mom's birthday but I can't find any picture of that memory since we don't have a phone until we're old enough to travel on our own.

And here's mine taken by my girlfriend as we go there yesterday at August 4,2022, have to write these here so I can remember it everytime I browse my posts.

This temple is from far our house but I decided to go here since I want to be in here again after the tiring days of the pandemic.

So these is how it looks like in the inside, we can see that there are many people worshipping in this church, united by their beliefs and most specially God.
