A DAY WITH CIEL-INSPIRED EDITS AND JOJO VIBES

Good day, everyone!! How have you all been? It's been a while hehe. I hope you're all doing great. Today, I want to share how I did my makeup and how I edited the photos.

First, let’s talk about this Ciel Phantomhive-inspired look. It’s not exactly a full cosplay, but I tried to recreate the eyes through editing. I’ve been a fan of Black Butler for a long time, and I finally got the chance to imitate some small details. I didn’t use contact lenses since I’m honestly still scared to put them on. If I ever do, it would take a lot of courage. So for now, I edited the eyes instead. Editing isn’t a bad thing, right? I still see it as a way to improve, and this is a small step toward learning more.

I actually used Picsart for the edits. Back then, I had no idea how to use the app properly (and I still kind of don’t haha). I practiced and tried my best to make it work. It’s mostly cutouts, and I just adjusted some parts to match the look I wanted. It may not look super professional, but I did what I could. What do you think?

About the makeup for this look, I didn’t really put on anything heavy. I kept it simple and natural. I just used a bit of eyebrow pencil, some nose shaper, and a light layer of foundation and concealer, nothing too much. I wanted it to feel comfortable and still show a bit of character.

For the photo, I used the Oldroll app. I actually use Oldroll a lot because I like the vibe it gives. It has that nice, soft finish that fits the kind of edits I want to achieve. So far, I’ve been enjoying everything I’m doing. It may not look like much, but it actually took me almost an hour to edit everything. I’m still learning how to use the app properly, so I take my time and try things out. It’s fun discovering new tricks little by little, and I think the process is just as enjoyable as the result.

So, what do we have here?

This was actually taken earlier, probably around 11 a.m. I call this a pre-bath makeup look. It’s inspired by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. I’m not sure which character exactly since I still need to continue watching the series HAHAHA, but I saw a version on TikTok and decided to recreate it. It turned out pretty well, actually. Surprisingly, my hair cooperated with me this time, which rarely happens, so I was happy about that. I also enjoyed using black eyeshadow and eyeliner—it was simple but gave off the vibe I was going for.

I don’t know why, but makeup that involves lines, shapes, and bold details really suits me. It brings out a different kind of confidence, and I find it cool to experiment with. It reminds me of when I cosplayed the female version of Sukuna. Oh wait, I think I haven’t posted that one here yet. Don’t worry, I’ll share it soon, so please look forward to it!

Back to the topic, this look wasn’t something I planned out too much, but it came together naturally. I think that’s what made it more enjoyable. Just a little creativity and fun before the day officially started.
