It is great that you are able to live off your Hive earnings. Now that I am retired I hope to build enough HP to create a passive income from curation rewards.

The curation rewards can be pretty effective once your HP is high. For me, it's still more profitable to focus on posting, but I can imagine a day where it is smarter to spend the majority of the time curating and posting only when I feel like it and not because I need to 😁.
I suppose that we can earn from both posting and curating. But for passive income, meaning that I can earn income for not doing anything as voting can be automated. But to earn the author reward I need to post. Since I enjoy writing, I will not stop posting. For your info, I have increased my delegation to Hive Asean Community to 200HP.
