This morning, the Milo truck visited our school. Each year, a truck goes to schools, whether primary or secondary, bringing free drinks for teachers and students. At our school, there are about 800 students and 60 teachers. Even though not all teachers went to get the free Milo, including me, it was still a large crowd. My stomach sometimes doesn’t feel good with Milo – it can make me bloated. So, I just enjoyed my coffee and watched from the office as students came and went to get their free Milo. I didn’t take any pictures, just one of the truck when it first arrived, before the students started lining up.
My wife messaged me before noon to say that Eiona had a stomach ache and had already gone to the bathroom three times. It might have been because of the milk she drank before her stomach started hurting, but I’m not sure. I had to cancel the extra class at 2:30 p.m. to take Eiona to see the doctor. Rez also had a slight cough, so we took him to the doctor too to make sure it didn’t get worse.
While waiting to see the doctor, my wife bought some snacks at a new shop, including an egg tart. It tasted very sweet and rich. I liked it at first, but after a few minutes, the sweetness started making my throat produce thick saliva. After spitting it out a few times, I felt much better.
We got home pretty late today, again, around 5 p.m. The sky was still a bit blue, showing it had been a sunny day, but it was starting to turn orange. We only had time to water the vegetables and check the effect of the weed killer I sprayed last week. Some weeds showed results, but not all of them. It might be because it rained heavily about three hours after I sprayed. Or maybe I didn’t mix it well. I’m not sure. I’ll wait a few more days, and if there’s no change by next week, I’ll spray the weeds again.
