Another Weekend Family Date: Drink! Eat! Have Fun and Small Talks
Hello hivers! It's me @krissymayol a sea lover back again with another sea adventure. It was Sunday and I feel bored at home because we don't have internet connection and it is almost three days. So I decided to go to the market first to buy food and decided to buy lechon manok so there's no need to cook. Lechon manok is a roasted chicken seasoned with so many spices and flavors.
As I travelled back home I was amazed by the view of this volcano so I took a picture of it.
So we headed towards the beach. Me, my husband and our two kids. He is very gentleman because he carries all the things willingly.
As usual I met the beautiful entrance view of the rocky beach. Today was so hot and the sea was so blue but the waves are stronger than before.
As we find the perfect place, we then prepared our food. We bring the casserole hahaha! And the lechon manok I bought from the market. A beer for a little heat and a Coca-Cola for a fizzy drink. I also bring mineral water in case kids are getting thirsty. The lechon manok ads says it does not need a sauce but I brought my favorite sauce which is a soy sauce with venigar, a little calamansi extract and a lot of chili to complete. Then we have a great lunch! But I worry the ice because it's melting so fast.
We enjoyed eating because we got today our favorite viand. It costs 8 dollars and we can barely eat this because for me it's expensive. Beer and Coca-Cola is also expensive but this only happens once a week so just making sure everyone is happy and full.
After eating, we then enjoy the seawater, it was so salty hahaha. But the waves today is extra strong than last two weeks ago we are here. Despite the strong breeze we enjoy, laugh and sing. I never noticed that we are almost 4 hours in the water. The weather was hot but because of the shade of the tree, it makes more confident to go to the sea without a burning sensation. It has lots of rocks there but definitely better than sandy ones. It's a little dangerous for kids to think but I think sandy ones are more dangerous especially in the eyes. Everywhere is slippery but my kids managed to play and I'm happy seeing them enjoying the waves.
We also have a guest today hahaha. Today I bought my kids with their favorite back hoe toy and they bring it here. I feel so happy seeing them very happy playing with it all the time. I only borrowed it for a while to take a picture.
Then while we swim and have fun, we have a toast too! The favorite beer of Filipinos, red horse beer. It has the sweetness but with a kick of alcohol, a little bittersweet taste.
Then after four hours our kids are getting sleepy and tired so we decided to go home. I'm a little bit tired too, so I packed all the things and we headed home.
Today was a long day. It was fun and I hope you also have a great weekend.

Oh, you live quite close to a volcano. Hopefully that volcano is not active. I remember my father with that picture. He loved taking us out to the beach for a swim, or to visit some old buddies near the sea. Beer is really important for every occasion heheh... The kids are having a good time, too. The place looked peaceful and I don't see any one else. Lovely bonding moment with family!
@bettsmarie09 it's an active volcano, the last eruption was 30 years ago and made some of the places here sunk into the sea. It's kind of dangerous but his place has beautiful beaches.
A nice bonding with your husband and kids. Yes, a lechon manok now is pricy compared before. Your kids are enjoying so much.
@honeyjean24 it's expensive but delicious so you can't stop buying it😅😅 we have a long bonding yesterday because we only met during weekends but not all weekends
I also want to visit places with seas like that. However, I live in a mountainous area, so it's quite far from the seas. It's so nice to see you all. Have a nice day.
@winelay I also lived in the mountains for the last 23 years. And it was so exciting to start living here near by the seaside. I hope you can experience it too in the future

It's really a good sunny day, but the sea has strong waves. They played so much with their new toys hahaha. That beer was really good. Our favorite
