Happy Sunday Hivers!
It's been a long time since we last had bougainvilleas growing at home. When I was a kid, our yard was filled with them, but back then I never really appreciated how beautiful they were. To be honest, I wasn't even interested in looking at bougainvilleas.
As I got older, though, I began to see their beauty. I came across someone on Facebook who had an amazing collection of bougainvilleas. They took great care of them and regularly pruned and shaped them. That's when I realized how stunning bougainvilleas can be when they're properly cared for and well-maintained.

So I showed the Facebook post to my mom, and she said, "Bougainvilleas really are beautiful when they're properly cared for and regularly trimmed." Right then, she said she would look for someone in our area who was selling them.

This week, she didn't even tell me that she had already bought some. Since our garden is a bit far from the house, I had no idea she had purchased them. One morning, when I walked into the garden and opened the gate, I was completely surprised. There were already several bougainvilleas waiting for me, and one of them instantly caught my attention, it was covered in gorgeous blooms. It was such a beautiful sight and an unexpected surprise.

Bougainvilleas come in so many beautiful colors, but my mom was only able to buy two different varieties because those were the only ones available from our neighbor. She bought four pots in total, and each one cost ₱100.

I'm so happy that we've finally started collecting bougainvilleas. It's a small start, but we're already excited to watch them grow and fill the garden with even more colorful blooms. Hopefully, we'll be able to add more varieties to the collection in the future.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
