Discovering Orchid Shops in Ormoc City

I have mentioned in my previous blogs that my mother loves collecting orchids. It has been one of her favorite hobbies for many years. So when I visited Ormoc City, I made it a point to look for shops that sell orchids. Someone had told me that there were many orchids available in the city, but I had no idea where they were being displayed or sold.

I was glad to discover that the orchid displays were located near the Ormoc City Museum. After leaving the museum, I noticed several stalls displaying fresh flowers. Some of them were already arranged into beautiful bouquets, which made me excited because I thought there might also be orchids for sale.

I checked each flower shop one by one. At first, I thought I might not find any orchids there, but when I reached the far end of the area, I was happy to see a large collection of orchids on display.

As I looked at the different varieties, I kept thinking about my mother because I know how much she loves orchids, especially those with large and attractive petals. I carefully checked the selections in each store so I could later tell her what kinds of orchids were available in case we return to buy some.

The orchids were actually quite pricey, but they were also beautiful and high-quality varieties. One reason my mother enjoys collecting orchids is that she hopes to propagate them in the future. Once she has enough plants, she plans to sell some of them as well.

I was really happy about that trip because I finally discovered where to buy orchids in Ormoc City. Of course, when it comes to something that brings joy to my mother, I am always happy to support her interests and hobbies.
