Bottles of Liquor: Our Cozy Home Mini Bar

My younger brother has always wanted to have a mini bar at home. He enjoys drinking and, among all of us siblings, he's the one who drinks the most. He also has the highest tolerance for liquor, which is why he likes keeping a selection of bottles at home. That way, whenever he feels like having a drink, he doesn't have to go out because liquors are already stocked and ready. He was the one who requested our mother to have mini bar at home.

Now, let's take a closer look at our mini bar. On the upper section, we keep our wine glasses and other drinking glasses arranged. The lower section is where we store our collection of liquor bottles. We actually used to have bar chairs that were specifically meant for this mini bar, but unfortunately, they were damaged over time, so we no longer have them.

Since some of our siblings are working abroad, they often include bottles of liquor whenever they come home for a vacation or send us a package. Our mini bar has been stocked with different kinds of spirits, including whiskey, gin, tequila, and vodka.

As for me, I'm really not a fan of liquor. I do drink occasionally, but only on rare occasions because I don't like how I feel afterward. I usually end up with a headache, dizziness, and sometimes I still feel unwell the next day. That's why I prefer to avoid drinking whenever I can.

I remember one funny incident involving my younger brother, who loves to drink. Even though he has a very high tolerance for alcohol and rarely gets drunk, there was one time when he and his friends drank a little too much. He arrived home at dawn, completely intoxicated.

Our house is located near the coastal area. To get home from the main road, you have to pass by one of our neighbor's houses, which has a concrete fence. Because of how drunk he was, he mistakenly thought it was our house. Instead of entering through the gate, he climbed over the fence since it wasn't very high. Fortunately, our neighbor noticed him, recognized who he was, and realized he was drunk. Rather than getting upset, our neighbor kindly escorted him back to our house.

The next morning, my brother vaguely remembered what had happened, but he wasn't sure if it had actually happened or if it was just a dream. He asked our mother about it, and she couldn't help but laugh as she confirmed the whole story. At the same time, she reminded him not to drink excessively again. Since that incident, he has never come home that drunk again.

Because of my younger brother's love for collecting and enjoying different kinds of liquor, he eventually decided to have a mini bar at home. It has become a small corner of our house where the bottles are neatly displayed. While I may not enjoy drinking as much as he does, I appreciate the memories and stories that our little home mini bar holds.
