This is a place I visited about five years ago, and I never realized just how beautiful it truly is—until I came back today. The beach is called Bitoon White Beach, located in Virgen, Anda, Bohol. It’s owned by a foreigner and has plenty of cottages available. The beach itself is absolutely stunning—I'd rate it 101 out of 100! It’s truly an amazing and relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!
Today was actually supposed to be our beach day with my lunch buddies. Unfortunately, one of them is now in Cagayan de Oro—I'm not sure if it's for work or vacation. So, to make a long story short, since we couldn’t all go to the beach together, I decided to accept another invitation. I went to the beach with Ate Jean’s family. If I’m not mistaken, I think it was also Ate Jean’s family who brought me here to this same beach about five years ago. A lot has happened since then, and now here we are again—same family, same desire to cool off during this very hot summer vacation.
This was the exact area where I had photos remembrance posted in my Facebook account, the beauty 😍
As we arrived at the beach, look what we have here, there’s lot of people swimming as well as staying in the cottage and the view-woahh-it’s calling, the blue and very clean beach and one thing that makes this beach beautiful is because of its long shoreline and the water near the shoreline isn’t dirty and it’s quite deep not so deep just perfect for kids four to six years old.
Zaila and I explored a nearby area with a stunning view as well. The rocks were a bit sharp, but the scenery made it all worth it. From there, we could see the entire ocean surrounding us—it was breathtaking. Of course, we had to snap a 0.5 selfie to capture the moment!
FEAR FINALLY OVERCOME
At this point, I want to share something personal with you all: floating in the ocean—or even in a pool—has always been one of my biggest fears. I’ve been afraid of drowning and worried about water getting into my ears. It’s a fear I’ve carried with me for a long time... but not anymore. Because today, I finally overcame it. I’m not perfect at it yet, but I did it—and that’s what matters, right? So, this beach day wasn’t just fun—it was meaningful. It was totally worth it.
Here’s a photo of me, enjoying such a precious moment in the ocean. The beach was so amazing, it almost convinced me not to go home—haha! I love how this place was discovered; it truly feels like a glimpse of God’s breathtaking creation, always full of wonder.
Sitting on the edge of this rock, surrounded by the beauty of the sea, was an absolutely priceless feeling. The view around me—nothing compares.
I really love the photo that was taken by Zaila in this part, love it!
As the sun dipped below the horizon and our time came to head home, my eyes couldn't help but linger on the breathtaking sky and the vast, gentle ocean. Almost everyone had already left—only a few of us remained, holding on to the last golden moments of the day, reluctant to say goodbye to such quiet beauty.
This is the view from afar while starring it’s beauty.
For the last time, here we go again—another 0.5 selfie. Zaila couldn’t resist; she really loves the vibe of taking those wide-angle shots. It was finally time to go home. We were all set, all packed, not just happy but genuinely satisfied—especially the one who, on this very day, had faced and overcome her greatest fear.
As night drew near, I looked back on a truly fulfilling day. I have no regrets about accepting the offer—if I hadn’t, I would have missed out on the biggest victory that UI achieved today. I’m deeply thankful to the Beltran family for always surprising me with an invitation and making me feel at home whenever the day leads me to their circle. It’s a wrap—and I am forever grateful for the experience, the laughter, and the memories made. Moments like these remind me how beautiful it is to say yes to life.
That's all for my Beach Day journey, thanks for stopping by everyone 🤍
Nice to hear that you spent a great day on Bitoon White Beach and especially that you lost your fear of swimming in the ocean! 😊
The crystal clear, blue water is inviting. A paradise indeed.
