Light the World Giving Machine, My First Time Experience

Greetings ASEAN Hivers 😊 Hope all is well with you and your family 🙂

After 20 years I was able to visit the Philippines Manila Temple last Saturday, the first time was when I was a young woman participated in the youth Temple trip. I'm glad to see the Temple lighting for the first time, it only happens during the Christmas season so usually from the last week of November to the last day of December every year.

Before the Light the World Giving Machine was introduced here in the Philippines, I actively post daily prompts on what people can do to become a light to the world.

This year I had the opportunity to share what I can donate for the beneficiary I have chosen, even in my college years I was already active in giving donations for those in need. This year is extra special as it is my first time to give what I can share through the Light the World Giving Machine.

There are lots of choices or options to choose from. The donations ranges from 50 pesos to 1000 pesos so it depends on whom you like to receive your donation to. The vending machine accepts cash so if you like to try to give one item as a donation you have to give the exact amount.

It was fun as at first the machine did not accept the cash as it looks crumpled then after few tries it already accepts so it was a fun experience and it feels good that became part of the those who have a willing heart to share what I can for those who are needing it.

There's a touchscreen where you can choose which item you like to donate at first I was thinking of donating 3 items for a beneficiary from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao but since it only accepts the exact amount so I choose the other option.

The Light the World Giving Machine is available in Manila, Cebu, Bacolod and Davao areas only.
