It was a delightful day for all of us musicians who were given the chance to serve a special music task for Very Important People the VIP guests of the Davao Philippines Temple Open House. During my performance together with my accompanist, the General Authority Seventy First Counselor of the Philippines Area Presidency Elder Chi Hong (Sam) Wong watched our live musical presentation with his wife.

Elder Wong clapped his hands after our musical performance of which we were glad that a church leader appreciated our efforts and musical talents as we serve the Lord through music.

I am grateful for my dear friend who joined me to this musical task to consecrate our time to practice and perform for the guests who arrived from the Temple Tour. Her diligence and dedication for this wonderful event manifested in her commitment wherein she made it to the point that her piano in her house was repaired, I personally handpicked my friend to be my accompanist as I am sure she has the musical abilities
and is qualified to do so, her forte is using chords of which I am not good at, we were able to practice for 3 weeks as our preparation for the said event. My former piano student who is good at playing the guitar joined us in 2 songs a church song and folk music.

On this photo the one who played the electric piano is the student of my former piano teacher who is the head of the music committee followed by our music supervisor then the other guy on the other side is also my friend who is good at playing the piano also a piano teacher by profession.

We were glad to be part of this historic moment of our church history and this is a good story to tell for the aspiring musicians. My nephew also played at this VIP day event he scheduled in the day time.

Ohh, if they're very important people, it must be challenging and nerve wracking too. But I am sure nawawala din ang kaba ano po, as you all perform na. Y'all look happy with these photos 💃✨
