Free Food Sponsored by the City Government for the People, Timely Skipped Breakfast and Lunch

I was one of the fortunate individuals who was able to avail the free snacks a combination of Lomi noodles and porridge.

I did not expect that giveaways like that were distributed during that time. It was the first time that I knew about it although I already saw this group of people doing regular rally in the Freedom Park every Friday evenings.

It was just that time that I learned about them giving away food and that they actually start around 4 o'clock in the afternoon onwards.

There were actually 3 queue lines for the porridge and when 1 of the table distributing run out of porridge, they opened the container of Lomi noodles. It was timely that I was one to avail of the Lomi noodle first then as they said it was also fine to get a porridge at the same time so I took the 2 free food as I skipped 2 meals on that day.

Grateful that this served well as a blessing to those who were hungry including me. The initiative of the people who organized and sponsored this feeding program like event filled those empty stomachs. I saw people in different walks of life who fall in line just to avail of it. There was nothing to be ashamed of, I said to myself. After all, citizens are tax payers so it is just to take part of what can be s availed for free.

I observed that Christians, Muslims or Islam and Indigenous, Tribal or Ethnic people, the diverse group of people gathered to hear and support the call of unity to solidarity and protest the injustices and all that was unjust done by the politicians holding the national positions and cabinet officers who were the ones responsible of graft and corruption suffered by fellow countrymen particularly during disasters caused by flooding in their areas.
