This is our pig pen and it is located near at the bamboo trees. We decided to built it here so it will keep always cool because of the trees but in order to keep away from dangerous animals like snakes and scorpions, we always kept cleaning the surrounding areas. Our pig pen is made of welded metal bars and solid concrete for the floors. It is also installed with lights bulb and a thing used to stored cleaned water for the pig. It took almost half an hour of cleaning the place burning the dry leaves and reconstruct the damage parts of the pig pen.

After few minutes, my Father's friend was finally arrived bringing the piglet and few chickens we brought from him. I am very excited to have this cute piglet and as for that we placed it inside at the pig pen. Looks like the pig was very happy to have a new home but It loos like the pig wants some foods. My Mother gave it some feeds and gladly the pig was having an enjoyable time eating the feeds. We started to take care of pigs again and I really hope it will grow very healthy without any problem happens.

Our chicken coop is finally now in use because the chicken we requested also arrived. We constructed this simple chicken coop last month and it is made of round lumbers, rusty plainsheets and recycled big nets. It is near at the pig pen and most of the chickens we have here are tied using small ropes here at the simple structure.

We also built this simple cage just for the our newly hatched hens. It is made of small round timbers and bamboo pieces and we formed it into slant positions so chicks can freely run inside of it. Aside of that, a cage where large nets place also built just for chicks also. We attached the cage at the side of the big structure so it wont easily leaned. Watering materials and feeds are also ready for our new chicken and the place and surrounding areas are also finally cleaned. This is not yet totally finished because we still adding to construct few touches of the structure.

Our dry coconut palm was finally placed inside of our storage house. We kept gathering lots of it for everyday uses since we do not used any stoves and electric cooking materials. It is better to gathered lots of firewoods while the weather is hot so we can have used it when rainy season will came.

Our Guyabano tree are now finally bear fruits for the first time. I am very excited to picked and harvested the first fruit from this tree at the right time. This kind of fruit does not need to wrapped it with plastic cellophane. It wont be damage even if lots of black ants lived at the fruits. The most interesting about this is the guyabano fruits are easy to reached because it is at the lower tree trunk.

Our cow was waiting for us to gave some water. She was kept watching from the distance at the river. Every morning we gave her water to drink but we almost forgot to give some water because we are busy for our piglet and chickens. Having a productive day here at the farm is very enjoyable and important, and I am glad we did it our obligations very well.
Until next post, have a nice day to all of us.
This is one of the things I love about living on a farm, you can raise and grow almost anything you want. You also donβt have to worry about neighbors complaining about unpleasant smells because the farm is far from residential areas. It gives you the freedom to raise animals, grow crops, and enjoy a more peaceful and self-sufficient way of life.
That is true Sis @kellyane , I am lucky to have this place we can do what we want just like caring pigs and other farm animals without any complain from other people. π
