Its been quite few days since I did not visited our Farm due to a busy life the past few days. Now, I finally got back here and its time to clean the entire areas. Our place here experienced heavy rains and strong winds due to typhoon Inday and even if the super typhoon not hit our place, we also affected with tail of the typhoon. Lots of dry leaves and small branches falled to the ground and it really needs to clean so the place will look very nice again. We also repaired few rooftops and replaced those rotten knitted coconut leaves so it leak everytime when there is a heavy rain.

Arranging those ornamental plants is also what we did including wooden chairs and tables. We also removed and pulled out those dry leaves of this talisay tree so it will look very nice and attractive if the leaves are all green. It takes almost an hour of cleaning and arranging things and after that we will decided to went to the other side of the farm to clean and cut those thick wild grass there. After cleaning the yard, we ate our breakfast first and prepared the things we will brought.

It only takes few minutes before we finally reach the other side of the farm near at the slope of the hill. Cleaning the place is very challenging because thick wild grass grows and it is very hard to cut. My Uncle was also there helping cleaning the place using his sharp tools and a peace of wood. Cleaning at the place was very nice and relaxing because it was still early in the morning and the weather was very cool. We carefully cleaned the place so we can start cultivating it into a garden.

This is the place where we went today and almost half of the areas are now cleaned. Our Farm animals like goats and cows are also there very busy eating green young leaves and wild grass. The big trees are not included to cut so the place will become cool and have a shade. After cleaning the place our planned for this is to plant hundreds of Papaya plants and cultivating the soil for our Proposed Garden.

While at the middle at the farm, I also noticed this fruit trees produced lots of fruits. Here in the Province, we called it Eba it is good for adding to the food and a kind of very sour fruits. There are lots of it here and I was very happy to see it. My Grandma planted this Eba trees here and gladly it already produced lots of fruits. I decided to get few pieces of Eba and I will brought it back home. I cleaned the entire place near at this plant so it will grows better and produced lots of fruits every season. After that, we gathered those dry leaves in one place so we can easily throw it at the compost pit for organic fertilizer uses.

We also have Carabo here and as for that, wooden cart is perfect so our carabao can pulled heavy loads to be transfered to the other side of the place since our farm is on the other side of the river. This is very simple wooden cart but very useful to us here specially farm activities.

We gathered lots of young coconut plants and this will be our second work to do. We will plant this when we finish cleaning the place and aside of that, we also went to the Manggoe trees to find ripe Manggoe fruits. We gathered lots of it and it will be perfect for desert or food combining with rice. A great day here at the I once experienced here today.

Until next post, have a nice day to all of us.

We're same, we’ve also been busy cleaning up the aftermath of the super typhoon, both in our backyard and in our garden. Some of our banana trees were knocked down, but we're grateful that the ones bearing fruit were spared.

The cleanup after a typhoon is definitely exhausting because there's so much work to do. Still, we're thankful that the storm wasn't as severe in our area compared to other places.
