The Horizon — A Poignant Painting Of The Boundless Skies On Calm Sunny Day

Hello, Hivers. Allow me to share something about the nearby beach.

How magnificent is it to look at the horizon at the beach. It’s immeasurable grandeur has its way of granting us that wonderful feeling and it’s as if it talks to us individually . It carries a message that pacify our loud thoughts, encourages the heart to show up in spite of everything, and strengthens that weary body that has been fighting every day battles.

The chirping of the birds and flapping of their wings adds solemnity to the calmness as they fly. The elaborate cloud formations display their elegance like someone painted them one by one on that vast blue canvass — the sky.
Whether you’re just wanting for a slow morning stroll , doing your routine exercise ,or simply catching the gentle sea breeze , going to the beach has always something to offer. It invigorates us.

Visiting the beach during ebb tide is my favorite as it exposes the seabed.
It’s fascinating to see some crabs trying to hide as you pass . People living near the shore gather some edible seashell, seaweeds , and some crustaceans .

The sight of motorized boats ,cutting through the waves carry a lot of stories only courageous men can tell -their nets as strong as them brave the seas as they traverse the dark waters to catch the fresh seafoods. The boat’s crew will either sell them to individuals who will then sell to different households near the beach or bring them the fish market to gain a bigger profit. Despite the exhausting night, you can still see their faces beaming .

Humans are not the only ones anticipating their return the but also, the fury friends that we have at home - the cats. They can smell the bucket of fish carried by fishermen from afar. As soon as they hear the footsteps of these people towards their furparents’ house , their meows will fill the air as if shouting for joy . There were times I saw them begging the seller to give them some fish even before we get out of the house and approach the seller. I can guarantee that they would never quit until
they get what they want. They won’t take “No” for answer.
