The ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge is hosting our annual Mini Golf Gala this week, and attendees are encouraged to wear formal attire in addition to bringing their A-game.
Combining mini golf, elegant dining, and a formal ball is something I've been wanting to do for many years, and ASEAN Hive's wealth has finally made this possible, well, at least if you have access to the ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge. You'll find some intriguing attractions on the course this year, whether it be the mini Angkor Wat windmill or the giant ground coffee sandpit, and of course the rice wine river.
Try to sink a hole-in-one without spilling your champagne, or run through a windmille without getting knocked into the rice wine river. You can do just about whatever you want because you have to sign a liability waiver before playing, and also we're tearing the course down after a week. Grab your best putter, your favorite monocle, a reliable pocket watch, and a sweet tuxedo or gown, and come on down to the ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge. While you're here, do check out these five awesome posts from each of our VIP tiers.....
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) You ever have one of those days where you don't really feel like doing the normal things with your friends but still really want to get out of the house, maybe get a bit of exercise as well as help to satiate your dog's never-ending cravings for spending time with you no matter where you go? Well, maybe not but it is something that I feel at least once a week. If you follow my stuff you know that I have been trying to not get super-trashed all the time anymore or at least, not very often.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) In the past Thailand has toyed around with digital nomad visa schemes but the conditions were crazy to the point that it begged the question of whether or not Thailand government actually understands what "digital nomad" actually means. In the past these visas were available to such a select group of people that I don't know of anyone that would actually qualify. The first round was particularly nuts in that you had to have proof of making $60,000 a year from a singular employer to qualify.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Greetings everyone! Welcome to my blog. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. For today's post, I want to share one of the cheerful days of my daughter, Eiona. Last week, I participated in and helped celebrate the farewell event for one of the staff members at my wife's workplace. On that day, I had to ask my employer for permission to leave early since I didn’t have any classes at that time.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Hello hive community it's been a while. How's everyone doing? We'll if you'll ask me you'll have the same answer. I'm a bit tired, stressed and a lot busy since the kids need to go to school. It will be easy if I don't need to bring them in the road with our boat but not. As early as 5 a.m I'm looking for my soul to get up from bed LoL 😂. Then scratch my eyes to tell myself that I needed to move and cook for my family. Not to mention the 5-6 horses of sleep.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) When living in the city, you sometimes think that growing your garden is impossible. But I remember during the pandemic in 2020, people were able to grow plants even in small spaces at home. Some made ornamental gardens—others nurtured succulents. In our case, we started a vegetable garden in the vacant space in our house. I had several posts about it in the past where my family and I used recycled materials as our pots.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
Nice to be featured. I know you do so in jest but I have to say that I really miss mini-golf or "putt putt" as we called it back where I lived in the States. That's really not a thing over here in this part of the world. I did find a place that was trying to be a mini-golf course in Chiang Mai once but since they weren't going to have actual grass and I guess couldn't find any astro-turf, they just had you golfing on cement. It was lame and I think anyone that knows anything about physics can understand why that would be the case.
I too have seen a cement mini golf course here in Cambodia, such a shame to get so close to getting it right and just giving up.
oh and great work on including a Happy Gilmore .gif at the end. These references are always welcome.
I still occasionally ask my daughters if they want to watch an old Sandler film and show them a trailer, no interest. Kids today just don't understand.
Its VIP Lounge with the VIP moments he he he, So congratulations all.
