     It's the rainy season and I seem to have misplaced my 100 liter bottle of fungicide, so it didn't take long for fungi to slowly take over the ASEAN VIP Lounge. A few high-ranking VIPs recommended I wait a few days and see what kind of fungi we are dealing with, and much to my surprise it turned out to be oyster mushrooms. I did not expect them to be human-sized though, but this probably has something to do with the nuclear power plant that once occupied the land our lounge now rests on.

     Whether deep-fried, pan-fried, stir-fried, or even in a tasty soup like Tom Kha Hed, oyster mushrooms are tasty and versatile. Luckily it seems us VIPs are eating the mushrooms faster than they are growing, and as the rainy season will soon be over, it looks like we just have to keep chomping away for a few more weeks. I'd like to highlight this part so you have an idea of the sub-ethnicity and the wide variety of Chinese categorize themselves. Generally, theres 3 sub category of Chinese dialects in Malaysia. Majority of them speaks in Cantonese, which is the general dialects of Guangdong province. Hokkien, which is the same as Bun Lum dialecrs used in Taiwan, deriative from Fujian province. And Hakka, which is a mixture of multiple dialects from the Southern region.

We haven't had any free time in the past 1-2 weeks. Right now the vegetables in the home garden, there are only vegetables that I grew a long time ago. And I didn't take care of them. But there are also vegetables in the home garden that can be harvested to eat. My wife also, she hasn't cooked at home for almost 2 weeks.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} How are you? It's been 2 days since the start of a new week. I hope all of my friends are well and happy today. As for me, my daily activities started out smoothly, nothing too exciting. This morning I started at 6:00 a.m. so this is extra work but it's a nice thing and something I'm willing to do for my kids. Today, after I finished sending my daughter off to school, I drove my motorbike straight to the morning market.

She's someone who really loves penguins. Whenever we went out and she saw some penguin plushies or anything with penguin designs, she'd be so excited and happy. That's the reason why I decided to paint a cute penguin for her.
