It is the month where Halloween is celebrated so we are a costume design and a runway, where they have till October 20th to come up with a model, a costume, and a character to go with it.

Β Β Β A runway had randomly appeared in the ASEAN Hive lounge, so we are holding a model and design competition. The theme is Halloween so gather the team, the artist, the designer, the crafter, and don't forget the model. Halloween is the time where many people especially Americans bought a lot of things that they probably only wear once and never again, but we Asian knows to make things from unwanted stuff. So not only are we making the costumes from scratch, but we also recycle unwanted things to help save the planet from all the plastic and waste that we made.

Β Β Β Halloween is probably the one time of the year where candies are sold out the most, and those candies will feed you for rest of year if not more. Anyway, did you know a lot of countries have their own version of Halloween, and most of the times it doesn't involve dressing up at all. Now more details on the competition, you will have all the you need to make your best creation and the deadline will be on the 30th of October. So get your models, your costume, and you character ready cause this is next couple of weeks are going to the scariest or weirdest time of your life.

(α΄xα΄α΄Κα΄α΄) The cars are very basic jut off the assembly line but it has become quite fashionable for people to customize them in all sorts of ways including having roof racks (which are quite practical considering the almost non existent interior storage space), off road packages (stupid: this vehicle is not going off road), racing kids (also stupid, this car is not fast and cannot be made so), and a ton of decals, wheel types, and custom paint jobs.

(α΄xα΄α΄Κα΄α΄) I meant to write about this sooner, but I was seriously unwell over the past couple of months and had to put a few things aside. Now that I feel a lot better, I am returning to some of the things I wanted to share, including my weekend at KL Zine Etc Festival, or KLZE. From 7 to 9 August, I took part in KLZE at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. It was my first zine festival as an exhibitor, so I was eager, worried and a little overwhelmed by everything.

(α΄xα΄α΄Κα΄α΄) Today I have a cute little story about a tiny green insect. This little grasshopper has grown quite a bit. Its dark green color blends in so well with the kaffir lime leaves at my house. In the evening, we all went out to do things in front of the house, like watering the plants and weeding, while the kids played nearby. Suddenly, my eyes caught sight of a small creature hidingβwell, it wasn't really hiding, it was just as usualβon the tender shoots of the kaffir lime leaves. When I went closer, I saw it happily eating the young leaves! Haha, its reaction was so cute, so I called my children over to come see the little grasshopper enjoying its meal.

(α΄xα΄α΄Κα΄α΄) By morning it rained and I was supposed to be going in Candijay where we will conduct our thesis interview but since it rained hard the plan was cancelled and by afternoon the weather changed and it's now sunny haha how funny right but that's what it is. After thirty (30) minutes of our travel we have finally arrived at Mcdo located in Jagna, Bohol. Upon arriving, we ordered and the we wait.

(α΄xα΄α΄Κα΄α΄) I mentioned here before that our second batch of bell pepper plants had already started bearing fruit. And finally, we were able to harvest some of them because they were already ripe and ready to be picked! This morning, my mother told me that some of our bell peppers were already ripe and ready to be harvested. So, before we went home, we decided to harvest them first. We're truly grateful because I can confidently say that our second batch of bell pepper plants has been a success! All our hard work and sweat have finally paid off. Unlike our first batch, where some plants didn't grow well and others produced very small fruits, this time, our plants are much healthier and producing bigger bell peppers.
