The ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge is hosting a chopsticks challenge this week, Olympic styled and designed to provide as much laughter as exercise.
This week's challenge is going to wear out your fingers and your mouth, but it doesn't involve you shoving any fingers in your mouth. Nope, this week in the lounge we're doing an Olypmics inspired chopstick challenge, where you all will have a chance to show off your chopsticks skills in a rather tiny arena conveniently located in the ASEAN Hive VIP super elite and exclusive dining room.
You can participate in and/or watch events like the Noodle Sprint, where participants slurp noodles as fast as a possible without splashing a single drop of soup from the bowl. There is also a Chili Pepper Marathon where athletes must transport as many chilies as possible, a long distance without the use of their hands. Don't miss the eggplant javelin, papaya salad toss, dumpling dash, and of course these five awesome posts from each of VIP delegator tiers.....
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) If you read my work here you already know that I was involved in a bad bicycle accident that ended up taking out of action and forcing me to miss a trail endurance run that I had been training for over the past 3-4 months. As devastating as that was it was even worse to look at my X-rays, see that my shoulder is broken, and then being told that unless I am very careful, I will have problems with mobility for the remainder of my life.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Ever since I was pretty young, my parents have always been supportive of the things I enjoy doing. As long as it's not harmful to me, then they'll do their best to provide. I'm now a working adult, but they still give me stuff related to my hobbies. Well, I'm pretty indecisive when trying to buy something for myself, so they, especially my mom, would get it for me instead when they have some extra. hahaha
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Today I'm going to share my first-ever homemade lasagna. My daughter, @tegoshei, really loves to eat pasta in any form, whether it's spaghetti, carbonara, mac and cheese, or many more. Lasagna is one of her top favorites. However, for so long, I had never cooked lasagna at home because we didn't have an oven, and I really don't like the smell of beef either. So, we mostly buy lasagna for her at Greenwich, one of the famous fast-food places here in the Philippines.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) The past few days have been really busy for me, that’s why I wasn’t able to write or blog for a while. Life had me occupied with so many things, but the most important one is this: At last, my love is now working abroad. It wasn’t easy to reach this point because of all the challenges we faced along the way. 🙏 During his last week here in the Philippines, our days were filled with errands, rushing papers, and making sure all his documents were ready before his visa expired.
(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) It's been going viral online on different social media platforms about how effective avocado seeds are in terms of muscle cramps. Out of curiosity, I decided to make one to prove it's effectivity because my father work at the farm and almost every week my mother has to buy liniment oil at the store. According to some experts it helps reduce muscle cramps and swelling.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 15% post beneficiary.
