     Hide & Go Seek is certainly lots of fun when played safely and responsibly, and that's what I hope you ASEAN Hivers will do this week in the lounge. I trust nobody will try to hide in the fish tank or mustard barrel like last time, but the most important thing is that you don't injure yourselves while both seeking and hiding. Camouflage in all its forms is welcome, whether army attire or body paint, the choice is yours.

     Whoever is "it" will have their name illuminated on all the screens throughout the lounge as well as having their name announced on our PA system. This will allow all folks in all parts of the lounge to know when to hide and who to hide from. There are perks to being "it" though, you get a free bag of diamonds for every hiding VIP your uncover. Motorbiking over the Hai Van Pass in Da Nang

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} For anyone with a motorbike here going over the Hai Van Pass is a right of passage of sorts. It isn't difficult and just like most places in Vietnam the roads are very well maintained so one need not worry about safety. According to legend this winding road that leads to a beach city on the other side and eventually leads to Hue city, used to be the only method of getting over there. There was no other method to get over the mountains.

Family and Furbabies (Photography and Randomness)

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} One of the things I enjoy doing is taking photos. I may not have the best tool to do it, but as long as I have something to use, then it's all good. Whenever I see something interesting, or even something eccentric that tickles my fancy, I immediately take out my phone and take some shots. (My phone is mainly for taking photos, gaming, manga, and occasional HIVE since I'm mostly on PC.) Among the shots I like to take are the simple and candid moments we have at home.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} The evening atmosphere is quite pleasant. Today, we'll be going to the health park. We haven't been out for quite some time, and my youngest daughter wants to go there. After we've eaten, we'll take a walk to digest our food. Today, the sky is rather dark and gray, not as bright as usual. It looks like there will be rain clouds, but it's not exactly, so the atmosphere is gloomy, but it's still cool and comfortable.

How a Break from Blogging Helped Me Face My Fear

Without thinking of what will be my next blog post or what stuff that I should share I was able to connect somehow more on myself and learn to drive an ebike. In an old blog post I have shared an experience about an accident that changed us. Even months later, a simple thing like a jeepney lurching forward could freeze my entire body. I was back in that terrifying moment of impact. The fear wasn't just a memory; it was a physical reaction.

Encouraging my daughter to do Hive

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} After dinner, I wanted to have a cup of coffee so I made a fire in the dirty kitchen to boil some water. Then came my daughter who just finished washing the plates, she came close to the fire to warm her hands from the cold water and then we had a talk I showed her her pictures which I uploaded here on Hive and she was laughing at how much she and her siblings changed over the years.
