Β Β Β Greetings folks, life has been more than hectic the last month. We arrived in the USA on June 2nd and came home to my stepdad having a heart attack. He had already had a few heart attacks and surgeries in the past, and the main purpose of our travel to the USA was to see him before he passes away, giving him a chance to know his Cambodian stepgranddaughters and vice-versa.
Β Β Β Our nearly 7 year immigration fight landed us in the USA with just enough time to spend one evening with my stepdad before the ambulance came and rushed him off to a distant Intensive Care Unit with a heart hospital. He's still in the hospital as I write this, already having been discharged home for one night before immediately being rushed back to the hospital. His heart is functioning at 10% and it's likely he'll be in and out of the hospital the rest of his life.
Β Β Β So, I guess that explains why curation posts have been very late. I do daily drives to and from the hospital and take care of his house and dogs while he is away. I do still love my ASEAN Hive Community and am glad to have a Southeast Asian connection while I am here in the boring USA. Anyhow, there are some new VIPs this month, can't remember who though because my mind is far too exhausted this month. You guys are awesome and thank you for your patience.
