Welcome to the ASEAN Hive Community's "ASEAN Hiver Of The Week" post, where I (@justinparke) highlight one of our community members.
I think this is perhaps the first non-delegator that I've featured as ASEAN Hiver Of The Week, but not for good reason. This woman is relatively new to Hive, but what she doesn't yet have in HP, she makes up for with stellar levels of engagement and high-grade original content. She's brought much value to our little community in the form of her infectious positivity too, and I think she may very well have the most exciting life of any ASEAN Hiver.
In case you didn't already, her and her hubby have taken to the high seas for their retirement. They've previously traveled SE Asia, and the current goal is to sail their boat from their home in Australia to Indonesia, where we can only imagine what will happen. I can assume with all of Indonesia's islands to explore, that they will not stay in one place for too long. If they ever hit the shores of Cambodia, my family and I would sure love to host some local adventures.
The two posts I've shared for you to all to see are good examples of the content you'll find on her blog. She lives in a sailboat, so expect to see lots of interesting aquatic adventures, whether snorkeling or cruising through a peaceful harbor, or even a shark!!
I am glad to see the majority of her posts are starting to get decent post payouts, she's certainly put in the effort within the short time she's been on Hive and posting in our little community. I have encouraged not to worry about delegations until she reaches 500HP, and even delegated to her 100HP from my personal account to help her reach the 500HP goal. I encourage you all to give her blog a visit and find a read, you'll surely be entertained and likely amazed.
Delegators are valued members of our community, so each @asean.hive curation post (other than the main weekly delegator raffle post) features a mini delegator raffle in the footer, with the winner receiving 10% post beneficiary.
Wow.. amazing, I am very happy with the election of our hiver friend @watusiwoman as ASEAN Hiver of The Week, I also often read about the content he shares in this community. Generally, his content is themed about life in the sea, and it's very interesting to read. A big thank you in particular to @justinparke for voluntarily choosing the first non-delegator hiver as this week's Hiver of The Week. And congratulations to my friend watusiwoman, I am amazed by your work 👍👍
Thanku very much @abizahid for your congratulations and I'm so glad you enjoy my posts.
You're welcome my friend, and yes I do enjoy your content. Keep on working in this ASEAN Hive community that we love..
Both of you are non-delegators, but you bring unspeakable value to the community through your engagement and positivity. Bravo to both of you.
Thank you very much for the kind words, even though we are both non-delegators in the ASEAN Hive community, but we promise to do our best here. Thanks again my dear friend @justinparke
You deserve to be chosen @watusiwomen, I see you are very active in the community, doing a very interesting job, congratulations to you
She has certainly earned it through her awesome content alone, but she is also one of the most common names I see in the comments section of ASEAN Hivers' posts.
Thanks so much @neoseven
Congratulations @watusiwoman for being chosen as hiver of the week.. @justinparke has made a great choice. 😀👍 Up up up @asean.hive
Certainly earned through an incredible effort, feels like she's been an ASEAN Hiver for years.
Yes. She has really great work. Interesting life to read about.. 😀😀😀
Thank you very much @luueetang 😊
I have been following her adventures and interesting stories. I appreciate that she is very engaging and supportive. Loved all her comments.
You are also a quite engaging member, I see the both of you in the comments section often. What a lovely community we have.
Thank you very much @justinparke
Congrats @watusiwoman you deserved this feature your post were all amazing to read with all your sailing adventures, surely we are entertained.
Her recent post with the sharks had me in suspense, that is just not for me. You definitely have to be brave to choose a life like she and her husband have.
Thanku @jurich60, it's great to hear you're enjoying my posts 👍
Wow! Thanku @justinparke for choosing me. This is indeed an honour. You are too kind with your words. I can only say that I love this community and I thank you for welcoming me into it even though I don't actually live in Asia yet. I will endeavour to keep you all entertained as our journey through far north Queensland continues. We have just 3 weeks left in Australia before we sail across to Indonesia. And if we make it to Cambodia we will definitely be knocking on your door 😁
It's actually a bit overdue in my opinion, better late than never. You've given more of your efforts, engagement, and content to this community than many longterm ASEAN Hive VIPs, hope that doesn't offend anyone 🤣. I've always been liberal with the ASEAN Hive rules, even letting the Bangladeshis and Hong Kong folks call this place home if they like. And for us foreigners, I've always said as long as there's a SE Asian connection, your content is welcome here.
Even when I was in the USA by myself, I was posting in this community about things going on there. It seemingly had no connection to SE Asia (white guy in Indiana posting about cornfields and rundown American infrastructure), but I was posting this stuff in ASEAN Hive because I wanted to show SE Asians the side of the USA they don't often get to hear about or see.
You've obviously got strong ties to SE Asia even though you're not there at the moment, and besides this place is the most jerk-free community on Hive 😂. It would be really cool to link up one day, Kep actually has a sailing club and bit of a sailing scene these days, would probably be your easiest access to Cambodia.
3 weeks is no time at all, be safe on the seas. I can't wait to see the progress of your open water journey.
I'm so happy I was put onto the aseanhive community right from the get go. I haven't had to deal with any jerk behaviour, thanku everyone 🙏. I'm on a little island called Lizard island with a little bit of service. I'm hoping to get a couple of posts in before we leave here Thursday Island, which will be the next internet access point.

Thanku @tommyl33 . We are certainly living our dream and it's an honour to share our dream with those of you that follow my posts 🙏
Thanks so much for good word . I wish you have a blast journey , cant wait to see more on your adventure here :).
From the mountaintops of Myanmar to the open seas, we certainly have a diverse gang in this community. Nobody brings to the ASEAN Hive table what this woman does, and definitely our only ASEAN Hiver living on the open water.
I agree with you @justinparke . She indeed the strong brave woman that i know.
This post basically sum up everything I have to say about her.
me too ;).
Thanks @davidke20, but come on, throw a rant or a choice davidke20 swear word at me to make me feel special 😅😅
That being said, we've got the same wave length in terms of black communication 🤣 parking efficient!
