     Loyal ASEAN Hivers surely know who Srey-Yuu is, but in case you don't already, she is my Cambodian stepdaughter and part-time ASEAN Hive curator. Lately she has shown the willingness to take on a bigger role in the ASEAN Hive Community, and this will allow me more time for other work and also the ability to enjoy a little free time now and then,

     There are times when I get behind on my curation posts and voting by a day or more due to unforeseen circumstances, and Srey-Yuu has been my co-curator to the rescue more than a few times. This 15-year-old girl is economically very independent compared to other Cambodian teenagers because she earns in excess of $100 each month from Hive blogging and ASEAN Hive curation work.

     Srey-Yuu uses this income to keep her motorbike full of gas for her daily 50 km roundtrip double mountain pass commute, snacks at school, and also manages to save a little too. Her Hive journey has helped her learn so many useful skills like the value of hard work, how to manage assets and income, computer/internet literacy, of course crytpo/blockchain tech, and so much more.

     Times have been tight lately and we've been struggling to produce enough funds to keep the construction of our lodge going, so I hope the beneficiary rewards from this post can serve as a thank you and a tip for all the online and offline work she has pitched in. Srey-Yuu's economic independence has allowed my wife and I to focus our meager earnings on finishing this construction project, and I can't thank her enough for that. And of course for her ASEAN Hive help, let's all show this teenage curator some ASEAN Hive love.
