This week's featured ASEAN Hiver is an Indonesian that blogs about a wide range of topics in several communities. He's recently come onboard with a 200 HP delegation and has demonstrated some exemplary engagement during the last week. Authentic engagement is rewarded in our community, and this guy seems to be well aware of that.
Comments like "nice images," "thank you for sharing," and other similarly styled phrases are ones I don't typically reward because these type of comments don't demonstrate that the commenter actually read the post. @hattaarshavin leaves you with no doubts he read your post, and enjoys leaving longform thoughtful comments. Engagement like this can't be underestimated because it's truly what keeps our community enjoyable and sustainable.
Whether food, traveling, or even karaoke, there is a wide variety of posts on his blog, all you need to do is have a scroll and you're bound to find something you like. I for one am a fan of Indonesian food, so any posts I see with cassava leaves, tempeh, or any of the other things they prepare so well in his country, I am clicking and exploring without a doubt.
That about it sums it up for this Hiver, I honestly need to read several more of his old posts when I have time, but one thing is for sure, he has a knack for writing and photography, and that alone makes a blog worth visiting. Let's all give thanks to this gentleman for being an exemplary ASEAN Hiver 🙏👊.
