     This week's featured ASEAN Hive is relatively new to ASEAN Hive, only joining earlier this year, but in the short she's been a member she has endeared herself to many, demonstrated genuine engagement, and published high-effort quality posts. Recently she also became a delegator and has worked her way up to 100 HP, finding herself among the SILVER VIPs.

     If I remember her intro post correctly, she currently lives in Dubai with her husband who works there. Both of them are from the Philippines, but have basically relocated to Dubai a new life and she is now a housewife. Before this she was a nurse in her home country for many years, often traveling to remote locations to provide services.

     As an emigrant with aspirations of being a Cambodian immigrant myself, I can relate to folks living outside of their own culture, religion, language, or country, and I also enjoy seeing countries through the eyes of people not born there. A different perspective is almost always a bonus, and now there are a handful of Filipinos living and working in the Middle East that share their lives with us ASEAN Hivers.

     At this point I must be honest and say I don't know a whole lot about this lady yet, life has been hectic for far too long and all my free time is reserved for sleeping. I have seen enough of her activity though to know that she's putting her best forward in our little community and setting a good example for her fellow Filipina/o newbies. Let's all give her a big show of ASEAN Hive support!!
